Consulate and Embassy Legalization

If you have legal documents that need to be used in a foreign country (like China, Brazil, or Paraguay), we provide Consulate and Embassy Authentication Services, for legalizing your documents!

For countries do not subscribe to the Hague Apostille Convention,  documents must first be legalized though the California Secretary of State (AND/or the U.S. Department of State in Washington DC), and then legalized through the appropriate Embassy or Consulate,  in order to be accepted for legal use in a particular destination country. Each foreign country has its own legalization requirements, and so the procedures vary between the Embassies/Consulates for legalization.

We are experts in the document legalization field, and have helped hundreds of companies and individuals legalize their documents through foreign embassies and consulates here in the United States.

We can help you legalize virtually any kind of document that needs to be used in the destination foreign country.  We legalize the the following types of documents:

  • Legal documents, like Power of Attorney
  • Birth Certificates
  • Marriage Certificates
  • Diplomas and School Transcripts
  • Regulatory documents, including Federal and State approvals
  • Commercial documents, including Certificate of Origin,  Certificate of Free Sale and Commercial Invoice
  • Articles of Incorporation

We submit legal documents in-person to the Consulates in Los Angeles, and also in-person to the Embassies in Washington DC.   We have helped some major corporations get their documents authenticated for use in the destination countries! We charge separately for submission to the U.S. Dept of State (when required), and for submission to the Consulates or Embassies, plus actual Embassy/Consulate fees charged to us. Actual delivery times of your documents depend on which Consulate or Embassy your documents are being submitted to.  For fastest processing, we use Fed Ex Express for shipment of documents to our clients and business partners.

We have processed thousands of documents for the following countries, through their Embassies and Consulates:

  • China
  • Brazil
  • Ecuador
  • Bolivia
  • Kuwait
