Apostilles and Secretary of State Authentications (for International Use)

Apostille and Authentication Pricing (when documents are shipped to us or brought directly to us) – as low as $75 per document.


We obtain Apostilles and Authentications for documents signed by Notaries and other public officials, like County Clerks and Clerks of the Superior Court of California.    We also obtain Apostilles from the U.S. Dept. of State in Washington DC, through  our business partner in Washington DC (for FBI Background Checks and Embassy Authentications). Most clients need to use our services to obtain the California Apostilles.  

Our Apostille and Authentication Services  for California Documents (processed through the office of the Secretary of State of California in Los Angeles), provides a fast, convenient and sure way to get your Apostilles processed!   The price for 1-Day Service processing is $95 for the first document in your order.  We can guarantee same-day processing of your order (if documents received by 3PM), and Fed Ex Express or Fed Ex Ground services, for reasonable additional charges.   Additional Apostilles in your order are $75 each.  Documents received after 3PM will be processed on the next business day.  We accept clients for Notary and Apostille Orders up until 11PM each weekday (by appointment), and up to 8PM by appointment on weekends. We Know the Apostille Business

We have been providing  Apostille Services through the California Secretary of State’s office since 2007.  We audit all documents when we accept them, to make sure that there are no errors or other issues for which documents may be rejected by the Secretary of State,  so that your documents may be processed immediately, without delay. (Note that we are only auditing for compliance with the Secretary of State- we do not evaluate the contents of your documents, as we are not lawyers- the signers of the documents are responsible for their contents).     We audit for Notary Certificate compliance, document compliance (we make sure that it’s signed and doesn’t contain blanks),  and we make sure that Notaries have notarized the documents correctly.  If we find any error, we immediately notify our client, in order to get the errors corrected immediately so that the documents may be promptly processed.

We accept, Cash, Credit Cards (though our Pay Pal button on this website), U.S. Postal Money Orders, Business Checks (from approved businesses, which include large, well-known corporations and LLC’s), Disney Dollars, Western Union, and Money Gram. Please do not ship cash to us– we only collect it when we see you in person!


Document Pick-Up and Mobile Notary Services for Local Clients

For local clients (within a 50 mile radius of our West Adams Boulevard location), we provide Mobile Apostille Services and Mobile Notary Services.   Pickup and Mobile Notary Services start at $50.00, in addition to the cost of the Apostille Services that you need and shipping charges that you choose.  For Notary Services we charge $15.00 per notarized signature (on an Acknowledgment or Jurat).

Retrieving Your Documents

If you choose to not have your documents shipped to you by Fed Ex,  you may pick them up at our office on West Adams Blvd., by appointment, at your convenience.

You are always welcome to pick up your documents from us same-day after hours (after 7:00PM) at our West Adams Boulevard location, at no additional charge, by appointment only.


We accept cash, business checks, and credit card payments through Pay Pal.  We also accept Pay Pal payments.

Documents Must Be Reviewed Before Shipping

Before sending us your documents for processing, you should email a scan of them or text a photo of the documents to us, for review.  Notarized documents must be completed correctly, and if there are any errors, they will be rejected and will cause a delay. If your Birth/Marriage/Death Certificates do not bear the signature and seal of the County Recorder of your California County (or the signature of the State Registrar of Public Health in Sacramento), then your documents are not acceptable for Apostille.  Court documents (like Divorce Judgments) must also bear the proper signature and seal. 

Documents that can be authenticated by the California Secretary of State include: 

– all documents properly notarized by any California Notary Public (Notaries with new commissions can take about a month to be in the Secretary of State’s system.  To ensure no delay, please use a Notary whose commission began more than a month ago).

– documents bearing the signature and seal of any County Clerk or County Recorder

-documents bearing the signature and seal of any Superior Court Clerk or Judge in California.

– documents from the California State Department of Justice bearing the signature and seal of Kamala Harris, Attorney General.

– for Criminal Background Checks from the California Department of Justice, please email the documents to us for review!  Some of these are fine for authentication, while some are not.

– documents bearing the signature and seal of the Governor of California

We also offer Embassy and Consulate Legalization Services for most consulates in the Los Angeles, California area.  Some Consulates that we can process your documents for include: Brazil, China, Ecuador, Indonesia, Italy,  Kuwait, Paraguay,  the Philippines, Spain and Thailand.  Pricing for local consulates is $175,  plus $75  per document in your order, plus local Consulate fees.
